A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Annie moved to Jackson Hole after graduating from the University of Virginia in 1999. Like so many others, Annie was lured by the siren song of the Teton mountain range. While it was the mountains that drew her, it is Jackson Hole’s extraordinary community of people that has inspired her to choose this place as her permanent home.
Since her tenure in the Tetons began, Annie has been actively engaged in the nonprofit realm as a consultant, volunteer and facilitator of charitable giving. She is particularly interested in environmental and women’s issues, and is a co-founder of the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Campaign and Womentum of The Equipoise Fund. She currently serves on the Board of Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling.
In 2009 Annie earned a Certificate in Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship from Bainbridge Graduate Institute. This series of MBA courses deepened her business acumen and reinforced her commitment to sustainable, “triple bottom line” business. In adhering to the triple bottom line philosophy, Annie measures the success of her business not only in financial terms, but also with regard to its environmental and social impacts.
Annie is an avid backcountry skier and cyclist. She relishes her every minute of playtime with dear friends (human and canine) in the Tetons.
